My body just shut down because I wasn't paying attention to my feelings and I wasn't paying attention to the signals my body was sending. I think if I knew how to listen to my body or knew how to do it before it wouldn't have gone that far.

Finding her true self and being open to accept this is a new thing for Eva Mehus from Norway.

It hasn't all been plain sailing and after taking on different roles in various companies Eva became unwell and once the illness had past she hit the famous 'wall'.

On reflection she reveals how being a people pleaser damaged her and she shares what it has taken for her to understand her purpose and understand what truly matters to her.

In this episode Eva takes us on a journey to where she has arrived and shares her experiences of calling out for help that led her to understand how much she had become the voices and expectations around her that were in deep contrast to what she felt was true.

Eva speaks openly about her emotional challenges, what she has learned and what she would say to her younger self as we talk about friendship, parenting, purpose, finding the job of your dreams, challenges and issues around materialistic societies and understanding why being true to yourself and what you believe in, is critical for personal growth.

What is even more significant is Eva's discovery of learning about how much her mind, body and purpose are connected and also how much she wishes she had learned how to understand her body and been taught the value of listening to her own wisdom.
